A planar articulated robot and an inner rotor articulation apparatus, comprising a base (I), a first inner rotor articulation apparatus (II), a first mechanical arm (III) driven by the first inner rotor articulation apparatus (II), and a mechanical hand (IV) connected to the first mechanical arm (II). The first inner rotor articulation apparatus (II) comprises a rotating shaft (13) that is fixedly connected with the first mechanical arm (III) and extends along a longitudinal axis; a low-speed rotor assembly located at the periphery of the rotating shaft (13); a high-speed rotor assembly located at the periphery of the low-speed rotor assembly; a magnetic field adjusting ring located between the low-speed rotor assembly and the high-speed rotor assembly in a circumference direction; a stator core (2) located at the periphery of the high-speed rotor assembly, wherein a certain gap exists between the stator iron and the high-speed rotor assembly in the circumference direction; and a machine shell (34) covering the periphery of the stator core (2) and fixedly connected with the stator core (2). A coil is wound on the stator core (2). Therefore, the inner rotor apparatus is high in transmission accuracy, high in utilization rate of a permanent magnet, simple and compact in structure, and low in cost.
