Abstract:
The present invention relates to a planar lighting device and comprises: a main frame of which the rear side is coupled to an installation surface; a main lighting unit coupled to a front surface of the main frame and emitting light frontward when power is delivered from the outside; a side frame provided along an edge of the main frame and lengthily extending along the edge of the main frame; an auxiliary lighting unit coupled to a front surface of the side frame and emitting light to the front thereof when power is delivered from the outside; a diffusion unit located in front of the main frame and the side frame to diffuse light of the main lighting unit and the auxiliary lighting unit frontward; a partition wall which divides the main lighting unit and the auxiliary lighting unit therebetween into two sides at the front of an edge side of the main frame and lengthily extends along the edge of the main frame; and a control unit for simultaneously or individually controlling driving of the main lighting unit and the auxiliary lighting unit.
