Abstract:
A method of producing a plasma display panel which uses a technique capable of forming a fluorescent layer easily and accurately, wherein, when applying a fluorescent ink along grooves (32) between partitions (30), the position of a nozzle (54) and an ink injection amount are regulated based on positional information with the fluorescent ink continuously kept injected from the nozzle (54); alternatively, the ink is applied with the ink kept injected, even when the nozzle (54) is not directly above a groove. Further, the dispersibility of the fluorescent ink is improved by providing a charged coating on a fluorescent particle to separate a binder from a solvent in the fluorescent ink and by adding a destaticizing substance.
