Abstract:
A plasma display panel comprises a first substrate (FS) and a second substrate (RS) opposed to each other through a discharge space (DS). The first substrate has first electrodes (XE) and second electrodes (YE) extending in the first direction (D1) and address electrodes (AE) extending in the second direction (D2) crossing the first direction. On the first substrate side of the second substrate, first partition walls (BR1) extending in the second direction are formed integrally with the second substrate. Furthermore, the plasma display panel has, for example, an antireflection film (AR) formed on the surface of the second substrate on its side opposite to the first substrate. Consequently, the contract of an image can be improved.
