The present invention pertains to a plasma gasifier for integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC). A plasma gasifier used in the integrated gasification combined cycle according to one embodiment of the present invention includes one or more plasma generating devices. The plasma generating device includes: an electromagnetic wave supply section for oscillating electromagnetic waves of a predetermined frequency; a discharge tube for generating plasma from the electromagnetic waves supplied from the electromagnetic wave supply section and the mixture gas of steam and oxygen; a gas supply section for injecting the mixture gas of steam and oxygen into the discharge tube in the form of a vortex; a coal supply section for supplying coal in solid form to the plasma generated in the discharge tube; an ignition section for supplying initial electrons so as to generate plasma in the discharge tube; and a gas discharge section for discharging synthesis gas, which is synthesized by the reaction between the plasma generated in the discharge tube and the coal.
