Abstract:
Provided are a more efficient plasma generator that can be reduced in size, and a surface melting method in which the plasma generator is used. To achieve the above, the plasma generator according to one aspect of the present invention is provided with: a DC power supply; a toroidal core oscillation circuit provided with a first choke coil connected to the DC power supply, a first capacitor connected to the first choke coil, a first switching element connected to the first capacitor, and a second choke coil; a toroidal core resonance circuit provided with a third choke coil connected to the second choke coil; and a pair of electrodes connected to the third choke coil.
