Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a plate and a battery. The plate comprises a plate body and a tab, wherein a part of the tab and a part of the plate body mutually overlap, and the tab and the plate body are electrically connected to each other at an overlapped position; the tab comprises a first extension section and a second extension section, which are connected, at least part of the first extension section is located at the overlapped position, and a projection of the second extension section on the plane where the plate body is located does not overlap with the plate body; and the thickness of the first extension section is less than that of the second extension section. Thus, the first extension section can be set to be thinner, thereby reducing the influence of the tab on the thickness of a core and guaranteeing the energy density of the battery; in addition, the second extension section can be set to be thicker, so that the overall resistance of the tab is smaller, thereby increasing the overcurrent capacity of the battery and improving the performance of the battery. Therefore, the plate and the battery provided in the present application can reduce the internal resistance of the tab, thereby improving the overcurrent performance of the battery.
