Abstract:
Disclosed is a light-permeable or a semi-light-permeable ornamental object, which is molded from a light-permeable or semi-light-permeable material, modeled after an object having an outer surface of unique appearance and unique characteristic sites, and having embedded therein, without protruding beyond the outer surface, a single or multiple strands of optical fiber (17) as a functional or ornamental component. The optical fiber (17) is disposed so the first ends on the side of a light-receiving part (17a) are in a position facing the outer surface of the ornamental object, and the second ends on the side of a light-emitting part (17c) are in the characteristic sites facing the outer surface of the ornamental object.
