Abstract:
This plated steel material comprises a steel material and a plating layer that is formed on the steel material; the plating layer has a chemical composition which contains, in mass%, from 1.0% to 30.0% of Zn, from 0% to 10.0% of Mg, from 0.05% to 10.0% of Si and from 0% to 10.0% of Fe, while containing one or more elements that are selected from among from 0% to 3.00% of Ca, from 0% to 0.50% of Sb, from 0% to 0.50% of Pb, from 0% to 0.50% of Sr, from 0% to 1.00% of Sn, from 0% to 1.00% of Cu, from 0% to 1.00% of Ti, from 0% to 1.00% of Ni, from 0% to 1.00% of Mn, from 0% to 1.00% of Cr, from 0% to 1.00% of La, from 0% to 1.00% of Ce, from 0% to 1.00% of Zr and from 0% to 1.00% of Hf, in a total amount of from 0% to 5.00%, with the balance being made up of Al and impurities; the structure of the plating layer contains an α phase that is a solid solution of Al and Zn; and Zn phases having a particle diameter of from 10 nm to 200 nm are contained in the α phase at a number density of 10 per 100 μm2 or more.
