Disclosed in the present invention are a platinum-carbon catalyst and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof, and a hydrogen fuel cell using the platinum-carbon catalyst. The platinum-carbon catalyst of the present invention contains a carbonaceous carrier and metal platinum particles loaded on the carbonaceous carrier, and the contact angle between at least 50% of the metal platinum particles and the carbonaceous carrier is 70° or less. According to the platinum-carbon catalyst of the present invention, the metal platinum particles have better dispersibility on the carbonaceous carrier, the catalyst has highly uniform cluster particles, and there is high interaction between metal platinum and the carbonaceous carrier, so that the catalyst shows improved electrochemically active area and superior electrochemical stability. The preparation method for the platinum-carbon catalyst according to the present invention has the characteristics of batch repeatability and easy industrial scale-up, and can achieve mass production of the platinum-carbon catalyst.
