The present invention relates to a playing toy for children configured such that, through a process of color change of a spoon toy, children can easily learn the process of growth of plant fruit, and children can visually learn the temperature of food when eating the same. Particularly, the playing toy for children according to the present invention comprises: a fruit body, which has the shape of a plant fruit, which comprises two separate bodies assembled to each other, and which comprises temperature color-changing dye such that the fruit changes color and simulates a cooked state when heat, such as the human body temperature or warm food, is applied from the outside; and a food contact portion, which is configured to be coupled to and separated from one side of the fruit body, and which comprises temperature color-changing dye such that the same changes color when contacting food. Therefore, the playing toy for children according to the present invention comprises a fruit body and a food contact portion, which have temperature color-changing dye, such that children can easily learn the process of growth of plant fruit through the process of color change of the playing toy for children, and, when the same is formed for playing house, children can visually know the temperature of food when eating the food.
