Abstract:
A plunger pump (10) is characterized by comprising: a tubular cylinder (20) that has an internal space (S) communicating with an intake flow path (R1) and a delivery flow path (R2); and a piston (40) capable of moving along the axis (O) of the cylinder (20). The plunger pump is further characterized in that: the outer circumferential surface (41a) of a head part (41) of the piston (40) is provided with a seal part (43) capable of sliding against the inner circumferential surface (22a) of the cylinder (20); the cylinder (20) has a main cylindrical part (22) in which the head part (41) is disposed during normal use, and a cleaning cylindrical part (23) in which the head part (41) is disposed during cleaning; the inner circumferential surface (23a) of the cleaning cylindrical part (23) has the same inner diameter as the inner circumferential surface (22a) of the main cylindrical part (22); the inner circumferential surface (23a) of the cleaning cylindrical part (23) is provided with a cleaning liquid distribution groove (24) constituted by a hole or a recess; and the cleaning liquid distribution groove (24) extends obliquely relative to the axis (O).
