A pneumatic brake releasing apparatus used on an elevator hoisting machine, comprising: a gas chamber (7), a gas tank (8), a gas pipeline (9), a gas film (10), a pushrod (11), and a gas control apparatus, the gas film (10) is provided on the two sides within the gas chamber (7), one end of the pushrod (11) is connected to the gas film (10), the other end of the pushrod (11) passes through an outer wall of the gas warehouse (7) to connect to an upper end of a contracting brake arm (2), an intermediate gas chamber (17) of the gas chamber (7) is provided with an intermediate gas inlet end (12) and an intermediate gas outlet end (13), a pre-film gas chamber (18) of the gas chamber (7) is provided with a pre-film gas inlet end (14), the intermediate gas inlet end (12) and the pre-film gas inlet end (14) of the gas chamber (7) are respectively connected to the gas tank (8) via the gas pipeline (9). The present invention utilizes compressed gas to push the gas film (10) of the gas chamber (7) and to drive the pushrod (11) to transmit thrust so as to open the contracting brake arm (2), completing braking and releasing the brake of the contracting brake by the gas. The present invention has a smaller power consumption, a lower noise, a higher safety, and a simple structure, and greatly reduces manufacturing cost.
