Abstract:
A pneumatic pressure-application tool (E1) according to the present invention comprises: a cylindrical body (1a) to be wrapped around a lower limb and a foot; and an expansion part (2) which is mounted to an inner-side portion of the body (1a) corresponding to a sole of a foot. The body (1a) has a peripheral wall that is formed in an air-tight sac-like structure. The body (1a) has a first air feed/exhaust port (14) for feeding air into the interior of the sac-like peripheral wall. The expansion part (2) is formed in an air-tight sac-like structure and has a second air feed/exhaust port (21) for feeding air into the interior of the expansion part (2). As air is fed from the first air feed/exhaust port (14), the body (1a) gets inflated so as to exert pressure on the lower limb and the foot. As air is fed from the second air feed/exhaust port (21), the expansion part (2) gets inflated so as to cause the ankle joint to be extended, thereby producing stretching of a flexor muscle at the ankle joint.
