Abstract:
A pneumatic radial tire for an aircraft. The pneumatic radial tire for an aircraft comprises: a pair of bead cores that comprise a cable bead; a radial carcass that comprises a plurality of plies that extend toroidally between the bead cores; and stiffeners that are adjacent to the bead cores on the tire-radial-direction outside of the bead cores. The radial carcass includes: at least one turn-up ply that has turned-up parts that turn up around the bead cores from the tire-axial-direction inside to the outside; and at least one down ply that covers the turned-up parts and extends at least to the radial-direction inside of the bead cores. In a tire-axial-direction cross-section of the tire when the tire has been installed on a rim, is below maximum internal pressure, and is not bearing a load, when points A are the intersections between virtual circles that are centered on the centers O of the bead cores and have a radius that is twice the diameter D of the bead cores and a ply that intersects the virtual circles and is closest to the tire-axial-direction insides of the stiffeners, points B are the intersections between the virtual circles and a ply that intersects the virtual circles and is closest to the tire-axial-direction outsides of the stiffeners, and reference points C are the middle points between points A and points B, line segments OC that connect the centers O of the bead cores and reference points C have an inclination angle θ of no more than 17° toward the tire-axial-direction outside relative to tire-radial-direction lines that pass through the centers O of the bead cores.
