Abstract:
A lightweight pneumatic tire having small rolling characteristics and exhibiting excellent steering stability, wear resistance, and the like, and its producing process. The pneumatic tire (1) is characterized by comprising a tread part (11) containing a wear resistance imparting material and a lubricant selected from silicon carbide, boron nitride, aluminum oxide, iron oxide, aluminum alloy, talc, clay, fine powder of inorganic ore, and active clay, and containing rubber, thermosetting elastomer, polymer alloy, vulcanizing agent, vulcanization accelerator, antioxidant, or other improving material, a carcass part (12) formed of a thermosetting molding, a belt part (13) formed of a cloth-like sheet, a shoulder part (14) formed of a thermosetting molding, an inner liner part (17) formed of a gastight gas barrier layer, a beat part (16) formed by partially winding a beat wire part (161) which is formed by solidifying twisted aluminum fiber threads containing an aluminum alloy or steel reinforced aluminum cable by means of a strong adhesive layer (64), and a sidewall part (15) formed of a hard elastic body.
