Abstract:
This pneumatic tire (1) comprises: a carcass layer (13); and side wall rubber (16) arranged on the outside of the carcass layer (13) in the tire width direction. The pneumatic tire (1) also comprises a resin coating (2) provided in a prescribed region (A) in a side wall section. The minimum value for the thickness (t) of the rubber in the side wall section in the region (A) having the resin coating (2) provided therein is within the range 0.05[mm]≦t≦4.0[mm]. The thickness of the resin coating (2) is within the range of 20-300 µm.
