Abstract:
A pneumatic tire is provided which has an inner liner layer constituted of either a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a blend of a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer and which, despite this, is free from air inclusion in the bead parts. This tire can be prevented from having a vulcanization trouble attributable to air inclusion. The pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer laid between and connecting a pair of bead parts, an inner liner layer disposed on the tire cavity side of the carcass layer, a tie rubber layer interposed between the carcass layer and the inner liner layer, and a chafer which protects each bead part, the tire-cavity-side end of the chafer having been inserted between the carcass layer and the inner liner layer. The inner liner layer is constituted of either a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a blend of a thermoplastic resin with an elastomer. The tie rubber layer has been disposed between the inner liner layer and the chafer.
