Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a pneumatic tire (2) that easily discharges static electricity. [Solution] A tire (2) is provided with a perforated portion (8), an under tread (6), a belt (18), a carcass (16) and a clinch (12). The carcass (16) has numerous cords aligned in rows and a conductive topping rubber. The electrical resistance (Rc) of the carcass is less than 1.0×108Ω; the electrical resistance (Rc) being expressed by ρ/g/(2×3.14×r)×L×10 where ρ is the volume resistivity (Ω∙cm) of the topping rubber, g is the minimum thickness (mm) of the topping rubber, r is the distance (m) from the tire axis to the outer radial end of the clinch, and L is the length (m) of the carcass from the end of the reinforced layer to the outer radial end of the clinch.
