Abstract:
This pneumatic tire has formed on a tread surface at least one circumferential groove extending along the circumferential direction of the tire, and a plurality of width-wise grooves extending at an angle relative to the tire circumferential direction, opening in the circumferential groove, and having a groove width, at least in the portion opening into the circumferential groove, greater than the groove width of the circumferential groove. Aw recessed portion is formed on the groove wall surface of the circumferential groove facing the width-wise groove.
