Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire that prevents TGC and discoloration during storage, even when storing tires having a thin sub-tread thickness in the tread main groove floor section, and has good initial wet grip characteristics. This pneumatic tire has a tread comprising a rubber composition for treads. The rubber composition for treads includes, per 100 parts by mass rubber component, 1.0-8.0 parts by mass phenylenediamine-based antioxidant, 0.5-4.0 parts by mass petroleum-derived wax, and 0.1-5.0 parts by mass nonionic surfactant. The sub-tread thickness in the tread main groove floor section is no more than 3.0 mm.
