Abstract:

　Performance on snowy roads is improved. Provided is a pneumatic tire (1), of which the mounting orientation on a vehicle is indicated. An outer middle land part (8) is formed between a first major groove (3) and a second major groove (4). The first major groove (3) has first portions (6) and second portions (7) alternatingly formed in the tire circumferential direction, the second portions being wider than the first portions (6). The outer middle land part (8) is provided with a plurality of middle inclined grooves (12) not directly interconnected with either the first major groove (3) or the second major groove (4), a plurality of outer middle lug grooves (13) connecting the second portions (7) of the first major groove (3) and the middle inclined grooves (12), and inner middle lug grooves (14) connecting the middle inclined grooves (12) and the second major groove (4). The outer middle lug grooves (13) are provided to different positions in the tire circumferential direction than the inner middle lug grooves (14).
