Abstract:
This pneumatic tire (1) is provided with: a pair of bead cores (11, 11); a pair of bead fillers (12, 12) respectively arranged on the outside of the pair of bead cores (11, 11) in the radial direction of the tire; a carcass layer (13) wrapping both the bead cores (11) and the bead fillers (12) and turned back therearound; and a steel chafer (21) comprising steel cords arranged therein and disposed between the carcass layer (13) and a rim fitting surface. When measured from a reference point for measuring the diameter of a rim, the height (Hs) of the outer end (211) of the steel chafer (21), which is located on the outside of a bead filler (12) in the width direction of the tire, and the height (Hf) of a rim flange has the relationship of 0.5 ≤Hs/Hf ≤ 1.0.
