Abstract:

Provided is a pneumatic tire (42) having excellent turning and acceleration performance. A carcass (50) of the tire (42) is provided with a carcass ply (70). The carcass ply (70) includes carcass cords. The absolute value of the angle of the carcass cords with respect to the equatorial plane is between 80-90 degrees inclusive. A filler (62) of the tire (42) is provided with an inner-side part (92) and an outer-side part (94). In the radial direction, an end (96) of the inner-side part (92) and an end (98) of the outer-side part (94) are located between an end (108) of a belt (52) and a fold-over part (72b) of the carcass ply (70). The ratio of the radial height of the apex (68) of a bead (48) with respect to the cross-sectional height of the tire (42) is at least 45%. The ratio of the radial height of the inner-side part (92) with respect to said cross-sectional height, and the ratio of the radial height of the outer-side part (94) with respect to said cross-sectional height are at least 35%.
