Abstract:
In order to achieve both external damage resistance and fuel efficiency, the present invention provides a pneumatic tire 1 comprising a plurality of raised portions 30 that are formed on at least one of the tire side portions 20 located on both sides in the tire width direction and that protrude from a tire side surface 21, which is the surface of the tire side portion 20, and extend along the tire side surface 21, wherein the raised portions 30 each have a first extension portion 51 that is placed in a placement area PA which is the area extending from a reference position for the tire cross-section height SH on the inside in the tire radial direction to a position corresponding to 15% to 85% of the tire cross-section height SH on the outside in the tire radial direction, the first extension portion 51 extends along the tire side surface 21 in a single arc shape or a single line shape, the first extension portion 51 has a length C1 in the range of 1.0 to 6.0 times the height FH of the placement area PA in the tire radial direction, and the tire side portion 20 has a thickness Ga in the range of 2-9 mm at the tire maximum width position W.
