Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire that makes it possible to reduce rolling resistance while also improving run-flat durability, and to improve ride quality during ordinary travel. A bead filler 6 is arranged on the outer peripheral sides of respective bead cores 5 in a bead section 3. A side reinforcing layer 11 having a crescent-shaped cross-section is arranged on the tire width direction inside of a carcass layer 4 in a side wall section 2. In terms of the physical properties of rubber constituting the side reinforcing layer 11 and rubber constituting the bead filler 6, the modulus at 100% elongation is in the range of 8.4 to 10.2 MPa, tanδ at 60°C is in the range of 0.04 to 0.08, and JIS hardness at 20°C is in the range of 75 to 79.
