Abstract:

The present invention provides a pneumatic tire in which lands (12a, 12b) partitioned by circumferential-direction grooves (11i, 11o) are formed, and width-direction micro grooves (13a, 13b) extending in the tire width direction are respectively formed in the lands (12a, 12b). The width-direction micro grooves (13a, 13b) respectively have, at the groove bottoms thereof, expanded width grooves (13ae, 13be) with expanded groove widths. In a state in which the tire is worn down to a depth that is 50% of the depth extending from the tread surface of the unused tire to the end surface of a tread wear indicator (16), the outer land cross-sectional ratio (Pb) of the outer land (12b) that is outward in the tire width direction is greater than the inner land cross-sectional ratio (Pa) of the inner land (12a) that is toward the tire equator line (Le). It is thus possible to suppress uneven wear subsequent to medium-term wear while well maintaining wet grip performance at all times.
