Abstract:
A surface of a sidewall part of a pneumatic tire comprises a smooth surface region and a two-dimensional code, formed within the region, having a dot pattern formed by two types of shading elements that are distinguishable from each other by surface non-planarities relative to the smooth surface. A tire cross-sectional height SH of the pneumatic tire along a tire radial direction from an innermost position of a bead core in the tire radial direction to a maximum outer diameter position of the tire is less than or equal to 80 mm. At least one first ridge projecting relative to the smooth surface and extending in the tire radial direction is provided on a surface of the pneumatic tire, for a length that is 50% of a width of the two-dimensional code along the tire circumferential direction, within a range between a position, distanced in the tire circumferential direction, from respective edges of both sides of the two-dimensional code in the tire circumferential direction, and those edges. A part aside from the first ridge is the smooth surface.
