Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire which makes it possible to improve the communication characteristics and durability of a transponder while suppressing a worsening of the rolling resistance of the tire. A transponder 20 is embedded more outward in the tire width direction than a carcass layer 4, and among rubber members positioned more outward in the tire width direction than the transponder 20, the tanδout (-20°C) at -20°C of the rubber member having the greatest storage modulus at 20°C is in a range of 0.1-0.7. Furthermore, the transponder 20 is embedded more outward in the tire width direction than the carcass layer 4, and among rubber members positioned more inward in the tire width direction than the transponder 20, the tanδin (-20°C) at -20°C of the rubber member having the greatest storage modulus at 20°C is in a range of 0.1-0.7.
