Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a point cloud coding method and apparatus, a point cloud decoding method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: determining classification information of the current point in a point cloud and classification information of decoded points in the point cloud, and/or distance information between the decoded points and the current point, wherein the classification information is used for indicating the category to which the point belongs; determining, from among the decoded points and according to at least one of the classification information and the distance information, K reference points of the current point, wherein K is a positive integer; determining an attribute prediction value of the current point according to attribute information of the K reference points; and determining an attribute reconstruction value of the current point according to the attribute prediction value of the current point. Points of the same category have similar attribute information, and therefore on this basis, during the determination of reference points, the embodiments of the present application take not only distance information into consideration, but also classification information, thereby improving accuracy of the determination of reference points; and when attribute prediction is performed on the basis of reference points which are accurately determined, the accuracy of the attribute prediction can be improved.
