Abstract:
Provided are a point cloud data transmission device, a method performed in the transmission device, a reception device, and a method performed in the reception device. A method performed in a point cloud data reception device disclosed herein comprises the steps of: acquiring temporal scalability information about a point cloud in a three-dimensional space on the basis of a G-PCC file; and reconstructing the three-dimensional point cloud on the basis of the temporal scalability information, wherein the temporal scalability information includes a first syntax element for a temporal level identifier of a sample in the temporal level track, and the value of the temporal level identifier can be expressed as a discrete value.
