Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose a polar transmitter and a base station, a power amplifier of the polar transmitter being provided with a dual gate transistor. By means of inputting an envelope signal into a direct-current gate electrode and a drain electrode of the dual gate transistor, and inputting a phase modulation signal into a radio frequency gate electrode, outputting an amplified signal of the modulation signal, so as to help decrease a voltage dynamic range of the envelope signal required by the polar transmitter, and help increase bandwidth and efficiency of the transmitter.
