Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polarizing plate where iodine loss is suppressed even under a high temperature/high humidity environment. The present invention provides a polarizing plate that includes a polarizing film having a protective film layered on one side thereof through an adhesive layer and having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the other side thereof. The polarizing plate is characterized in that the polarizing film is a hydrophilic polymer film to which iodine is adsorbed, and both the adhesive layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer have a moisture permeability of 100 g/(m2∙day) or less at a temperature of 40°C and at a relative humidity of 92%R.H.
