Abstract:
Disclosed are: a polarizing plate which has one polarizer protective layer for protecting a polarizer layer, and which is capable of suppressing decrease in the production efficiency of a liquid crystal panel; and a method for producing a liquid crystal panel. A polarizing plate (10) according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a polarizer layer (11) which selectively transmits light that has been polarized in a predetermined direction. This polarizing plate is provided with: a polarizing plate main body (13) wherein a polarizer protective layer (12) for protecting the polarizer layer is laminated on the polarizer layer; a protection film (14) that is laminated on the polarizer protective layer; and an adhesive layer (15) that is provided on a surface of the polarizer layer, said surface being on the reverse side of the polarizer protective layer-side surface. The laminate 10A that is composed of the adhesive layer, the polarizing plate main body and the protection film has a bending resistance of 7.6 mN or more.
