Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a polarizing plate which exhibits excellent durability even in environments at high temperatures and high humidities and the like; and a method for producing this polarizing plate. [Solution] A polarizing plate which comprises: a polarizer; and a protective film that is laminated on at least one surface of the polarizer, with an adhesive layer being interposed therebetween. The adhesive layer is a cured product of an adhesive that contains a cationically polymerizable compound, a first acid generator and a second acid generator; the first acid generator is an ionic compound which has a curing temperature of less than 120°C, and wherein counter anions constituting the ionic compound are anions represented by formula (1) or (2); and the second acid generator is an ionic compound which has a curing temperature of 120°C or more and generates an acid by means of an active energy ray.
