Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a polarizing-plate protecting film that has high surface hardness and that has superior dimensional stability and haze stability even when placed in a high-temperature environment; a polarizing plate provided with the polarizing-plate protecting film and a liquid crystal display device; and a method for manufacturing the polarizing-plate protecting film. A polarizing-plate protecting film according to the present invention is a polarizing-plate protecting film having a resin layer containing a cycloolefin resin, and is characterized in that the resin layer has a thickness not greater than 50 μm and contains a polyester additive expressed by general formula (1).
