Abstract:
Provided is a polarizing plate roll that includes: a winding core that has an outer circumferential surface that is provided with a first protrusion and a second protrusion that extend in the circumferential direction; and a polarizing plate that is wound around the winding core. The polarizing plate is provided with a polarizer and with a protective film that is laminated on at least one surface of the polarizer, and is wound around the winding core such that one width-direction end part region of the protective film is positioned above the first protrusion and the other end part region is positioned above the second protrusion.
