Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a polarizing plate which has a through hole in a plane when viewed in plan, and which is suppressed in the occurrence of a crack in a thermal shock test (a heat shock test) wherein the polarizing plate is repeatedly exposed to low temperature conditions and high temperature conditions. [Solution] A polarizing plate which comprises a polarizer containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin film, while having a first through hole and a second through hole in a plane when viewed in plan, wherein the shortest distance d10 (mm) from the outer periphery of the polarizing plate to the first through hole along the transmission axis of the polarizer satisfies the relational expression of formula (1a).
