Abstract:

The present invention provides: a poly(alkylene oxide) able to be advantageously used for easily adjusting the speed of elution of a drug; a composition for a solid preparation, which contains said poly(alkylene oxide); a method for producing same; and a composition for a sustained release preparation.　This poly(alkylene oxide) has a polydispersity of 7-9, a gel strength of 20,000 Pa or less, and an erosion of 48-55%. This composition for a solid preparation contains at least the poly(alkylene oxide), an active ingredient and an excipient.
