Abstract:
A polycarbonate copolymer having repeating units A represented by formula (1) and repeating units B represented by formula (2), the polycarbonate copolymer being obtained using bis-chloroformate oligomers represented by formula (1A) and/or formula (2A) as a raw material, and being such that the average polymer number n1 of bis-chloroformate oligomers represented by formula (1A) is 1.0-1.3 (inclusive), and the average polymer number n2 of bis-chloroformate oligomers represented by formula (2A) is 1.0-1.3 (inclusive). In formula (1), Ar1 is a group represented by formula (3). In formula (2), Ar2 is a group represented by formula (4). In formula (1A), Ar1 is synonymous with Ar1 in formula (1). In formula (2A), Ar2 is synonymous with Ar2 in formula (2). n1 and n2 represent the average polymer number.
