Abstract:

Provided are a polychloroprene latex composition which exhibits excellent mold release properties in dip forming and which can yield products of forming that have excellent softness, a process for the production of the same, and products of forming thereof. The polychloroprene latex composition, which comprises 100 parts by mass of a polychloroprene latex and 0.01 to 1.0 part by mass of an alkali metal salt of an alkyl diphenyl ether disulfonic acid, said polychloroprene latex being a polychloroprene latex prepared by emulsion polymerization in the presence of at most 3 parts by mass of an alkali metal rosinate per 100 parts by mass of the monomer, is produced by emulsion-polymerizing a monomer in the presence of an alkali metal rosinate and an alkali metal salt of an alkyl diphenyl ether disulfonic acid.
