Abstract:
A production method for a polycondensation reactive polymer is provided, with which the quality of the polycondensation reactive polymer can be kept high. This production method for the polycondensation reactive polymer is provided with: a step for supplying a molten prepolymer to a polymerization vessel which is for producing the polycondensation reactive polymer, and which is provided with a casing, a guide provided inside the casing, and a polymer discharge port connected to the casing and provided to a lower part of the casing; and a step in which the molten prepolymer is brought into contact with the surface of the guide, made to flow down said surface, and polymerized, and, as a result, the polycondensation reactive polymer is produced. In the production method, either the projected area of a section of a tapered lower part of the casing, said section being where the polycondensation reactive polymer flows down, is large, or the liquid level of a retained substance in the tapered lower part of the casing is controlled so as to include more of the section where the polycondensation reactive polymer flows down.
