Abstract:
Polycrystalline diamond including diamond particles, wherein the polycrystalline diamond includes cubic crystal diamond and 6H hexagonal crystal diamond, the cubic crystal diamond and 6H hexagonal crystal diamond are each present within different diamond particles or within the same diamond particles, and the ratio Ab1/Ab2 is between 0.4 and 1 inclusive, where Ab1 is the absorption peak in a range of between 1,200 cm-1 and 1,300 cm-1 inclusive in an infrared absorption spectrum, and Ab2 is the absorption peak in a range of between 1,900 cm-1 and 2,100 cm-1 inclusive.
