Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing polyester filaments containing chitin. In the polyester filaments, the content of chitin is 0.1%-3%. The method for preparing polyester filaments comprises: the preparation of modified chitin, the preparation of a functional modifier containing the chitin, the preparation of polyester functional particles, the preparation of a mixed spinning solution, and spinning forming. By means of the preparation process, the prepared polyester filaments have a filament number of 2.0-3.5 dtex, a breaking strength of 5.2-5.8 cN/dtex, an elongation at break of 38.5%-40.0%, and a breaking elongation CV value of 8.5-9.0%. The polyester filaments have a natural bacteriostatic property and a bacteriostasis rate of 95.0%-98.5% for bacteria that easily cause infections on human bodies, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. The polyester filaments are even in color and luster and have a light transmittance of up to 71%-75%, and obvious carbon black and particle aggregation phenomena cannot be observed by the naked eye. Therefore, the polyester filaments are suitable for making high-grade textile products.
