Abstract:
The present invention provides a polyester film for polarizer protection, which is capable of contributing to the improvement of the durability of a polarizing plate in a humidified environment, while using a common polyester resin as a resin material. A polyester film for polarizer protection according to the present invention is configured such that if the temperature and the humidity are raised from the initial state at 25°C at 10% RH to the high-temperature high-humidity state at 85°C at 85% RH at constant rates for 50 minutes, the dimensional change rate A (%) in a first direction and the dimensional change rate B (%) in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction satisfy the formulae (1) to (3) described below. (1): -110 × A + 101 × B ≤ 130
(2): -1 ≤ A ≤ 1
(3): -1 ≤ B ≤ 1
