Abstract:
Provided is a novel polyester resin that, in combination with a crosslinkable resin, yields a cured product that exhibits exceptional dielectric properties. The polyester resin is represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, Ar represents an optionally substituted aromatic ring, and X each independently represent a monovalent organic group containing an aromatic ring. One or more of the three X contains at least two aromatic rings, and the total number of carbon atoms constituting the aromatic rings is 16 or greater.)
