Abstract:
A polyester resin used for a graphene-containing powder coating. The polyester resin has the number average molecular weight of 2,500-5,000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature (Tg) that is greater than or equal to 54°C. The polyester resin can be prepared together with a curing agent (TGIC, hydroxyalkyl amide, or blocked isocyanate), a curing accelerator, a pigment, a filler, a leveling agent, a degassing agent and the like into a graphene-containing powder coating. Polyol, an aromatic polyacid, a branching agent, a graphene dispersion liquid, an acidolysis agent, an esterification catalyst, an antioxygen, a curing accelerator are used. Due to the addition of the graphene dispersion liquid, a coating layer has high gloss and excellent mechanical properties after the powder coating prepared of the polyester resin is cured; moreover, compared with the powder coating to which a graphene system is not added, the water boiling resistance and weatherability of the powder coating is significantly improved.
