Abstract:
Provided is a polyfunctional polymer having high stereoregularity, particularly isotacticity, chemical modifications thereof, and a method for producing the same. The molecules of the polymer have repeating units represented by general formula (2) (2) (where R1 and R2 are different and are hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups, aryl groups, and the like, and * indicates asymmetric carbon), and the ratio (m:r) of meso dyads (m) and racemo dyads (r) in the polymer is between 60:40 and 100:0.
