Abstract:
Provided is a resin material which is highly soluble in solvents and which nevertheless exhibits a low permittivity and a low dielectric loss tangent and has high heat resistance. The resin material is a polyfunctional vinyl resin represented by general formula (1). R1 represents a C1-C8 hydrocarbon group, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a dicyclopentenyl group, at least one of the R2 moieties being a dicyclopentenyl group. X represents a hydrogen atom or a vinyl-group-containing group represented by formula (1a), at least one of the X moieties being the vinyl-group-containing group. R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C8 alkyl or alkenyl group. n indicates the number of repetitions and is 1-5 on average.
