A polygonal motor, comprising a housing, excitation magnets, and a rotor. The housing is provided with at least four side surfaces identical to the number of the excitation magnets, a chamfer surface is provided between every two adjacent side surfaces, and the side surfaces are connected by means of the chamfer surface; the rotor is mounted in the center of the housing, and the outer circle surface of the rotor and the inner arc of each excitation magnet form an air gap; each excitation magnet is mounted at a chamfer, the magnet centerline of each excitation magnet is consistent with the radius line of the rotor, the direction of the magnetic line of each excitation magnet is symmetrically distributed on both sides of the magnet centerline by taking the magnet centerline as a reference, and an included angle is formed between the magnetic line and the centerline of each excitation magnet. An included angle is formed between the magnetic line of each excitation magnet and the centerline thereof, so that the power density of the motor can be further improved, and therefore, the power of the motor can meet the use requirements when the mounting space is limited.
